Scheme Overview & Benefits
Central Sector Scheme under the "Sweet Revolution" dedicated to promoting scientific beekeeping, boosting honey production, and enhancing crop pollination. The scheme provides up to 80% financial assistance/subsidy on the purchase of bee colonies, scientifically designed beehives, honey extractors, and protective beekeeping kits (up to 50 hives per farmer). Additionally, grants are provided for setting up Custom Hiring Centers (CHCs) for beekeeping tools, mobile honey testing laboratories, and post-harvest honey processing and bottling units.
Eligibility Criteria
Individual farmers, beekeepers, rural youth, Self-Help Groups (SHGs), and Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) registered on the Madhukranti portal.
