Scheme Overview & Benefits
Under the PM-KISAN scheme, eligible landholding farmer families across India receive financial income support of Rs. 6,000 per year. The financial assistance is transferred directly into the verified Aadhaar-seeded bank accounts of the beneficiaries in three equal four-monthly installments of Rs. 2,000 each via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
Eligibility Criteria
All landholding farmer families having cultivable agricultural land registered in their name (Institutional landholders and high-income/tax-paying categories excluded).
