Scheme Overview & Benefits
A Central Sector Scheme dedicated to establishing 10,000 new Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) based on the "One District One Product" (ODOP) cluster approach. Under this scheme, newly formed FPOs receive financial management and operational support of up to Rs. 18.00 Lakhs per FPO for a period of 3 years. Additionally, matching equity grants up to Rs. 2,000 per farmer member (capped at Rs. 15.00 Lakhs per FPO) and credit guarantee coverage up to Rs. 2.00 Crore are provided to make farmer collectives financially self-sustainable.
Eligibility Criteria
Collectives of small and marginal farmers (minimum 300 farmer members in plains; minimum 100 members in hilly and North-Eastern regions) registered as Producer Companies or Cooperatives.
