Scheme Overview & Benefits
The Mango and Guava Fruit Productivity Enhancement Programme is an initiative by the Directorate of Horticulture, Gujarat to significantly increase the yield, fruit size, sweetness, and export quality of Mango and Guava orchards. The scheme extends financial assistance at 50% of the cost, up to ₹10,000 per hectare, for the adoption of integrated nutrient management (INM), specialized water-soluble fertilizers, micronutrient sprays, bio-agents, pheromone traps, and canopy shaping. This scheme ensures higher commercial returns and reduced fruit drop for orchard growers.
Eligibility Criteria
1. Applicant must be a farmer in Gujarat owning fruit-bearing Mango or Guava trees. 2. 7/12 & 8-A land records showing orchard cultivation required. 3. Input purchases must be from authorized government outlets, GSFC depots, or registered GST dealers. 4. Open to all farmer categories (General, SC, ST, Small/Marginal). 5. Online application on i-Khedut before 08/11/2026.
